Brandywine Valley Restaurant Week allows you to experience a week of upscale dining with prix-fixe menus at 11 premier restaurants in Northern Delaware and Southern Chester County, Pa.
The common denominator among the participating restaurants is that virtually all are owner-operated. In other words, not only is there not a chain restaurant among the participants, during your visit it is likely you'll meet the creative mind behind the restaurant. In fact, he/she may even be your chef.
Join us in celebrating the exceptional chefs and producers of the Brandywine Valley. Take advantage of these special prices and dine at a restaurant you have yet to visit. You can’t go wrong with any choice from this year’s Brandywine Valley Restaurant Week lineup. Bon appétit!

Dan Butler opened Toscana upon returning home to Wilmington in 1990. His vision was a contemporary Italian restaurant with the big city feel of the places that he had seen in his travels and work experience in Europe, Washington, D.C and Florida. His education and the kitchens he has worked in since taught him to cook everything from scratch, using the best, freshest ingredients in a simple way that lets the natural goodness shine. Toscana has been renovated and updated several times over the years, including a to-go and catering shop adjacent to the restaurant, but the core concept of nice people serving “really good food” has never changed.

Tonic Bar and Grille is the big name restaurant Wilmington restaurateur Dan Butler is bestowing on his former Deep Blue Bar and Grill eatery. Tonic specializes in high-quality steaks, similar to Butler’s Brandywine Prime eatery in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, but it’s not limited to being specifically a steakhouse. Deep Blue began moving away from seafood a few years ago. After a steakhouse menu introduced by Bouchard was deemed a success, he and Butler decide to change Deep Blue’s concept.
